Someone asked OpenAI DALLE 2 to generate photographs of the Bear Stock Market in the 1930s and the results are hilarious

OpenAI, an artificial intelligence research laboratory based out of California, United States, and funded by Elon Musk, among other people has released DALL E-2. DALL E-2 is an improvement over DALLE which was released by OpenAI slightly over a year ago. While the achievements and capabilities of DALL E were surprising, the capabilities of DALL E-2 are unbelievable. DALL E-2 can create original, realistic images and art from a text description. It can combine concepts, attributes, and styles.

OpenAI ‘s DALLE 2 was in the limelight a couple of weeks earlier for its unbelievable ability to generate accurate images from text descriptions. And soon enough it was being used to generate all sorts of wild images with descriptions being limited only by people’s imagination.

Someone recently asked OpenAI ‘s DALLE 2 to generate images of the Bear Stock Market in the 1930s. Bear Market in finance and economics refers to a market in which major stock indexes have dropped a minimum of 20% from their recent highs. The 1930s are known for “The Great Depression“- a severe worldwide economic depression between 1929 and 1939 that began after a major fall in stock prices in the United States. However, DALLE 2’s understanding of a Bear Market is not quite as solid as some of us might have thought. Take a look at the images generated by OpenAI ‘s DALLE 2 when asked to create the Bear Stock Market of the 1930s.

Quite Hilarious! Isn’t it?
