Google brings back Quantum Summer Symposium for 2022

Quantum Computing is one of the fastest advancing and most promising fields of technology in 2022. Quantum Computing is expended to have major breakthroughs by the end of the decade and many technology companies have been working on Quantum Computing to benefit from the advances in the field.

The Quantum Summer Symposium (QSS) is Google Quantum AI’s annual conference, bringing together experts in academia, industry, and government to discuss progress in quantum computing research. The Quantum Summer Symposium for the year 2022 will take place virtually over 3 days from 19th July to 22nd July.

The event will consist of 26 talks from experts covering a wide variety of subjects from updates by Google Quantum AI, Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Error Correction, Quantum Computing libraries, and software tools. The event will also consist of a Virtual Career fair on the 3rd and the final day, marking the end of the event.

This 3-day Quantum Summer Symposium 2022 by the Google Quantum AI team will not only showcase new advances in the field but will also provide the attendees with the opportunity for deeper networking with other attendees.

Google Quantum AI or Quantum Artificial Intelligence Lab is a joint initiative of NASA, Universities Space Research Association, and Google whose goal is to pioneer research on how quantum computing might help with machine learning and other difficult computer science problems. The Quantum AI lab is hosted at NASA’s Ames Research Center and is working on advancing the state of the art of quantum computing and developing the tools for researchers to operate beyond classical capabilities.
